72-Year-Old Bolinas Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

BOLINAS, CA — Authorities have arrested a 72-year-old man on child pornography charges, according to a release from the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

The release says the sheriff's office received a tip in December about possible solicitation, sharing or receiving of child pornography and found the activity to be coming from a Bolinas residence.

John Baptist Delorimier, 72, of Bolinas, was identified as the suspect and arrested on Friday, Jan. 10.

A search warrant resulted in authorities finding "material depicting obscene images of a minor" on his personal electronic devices, the release says. The evidence was seized for further forensic examination.

The release says there are no indications that any victims are from Marin County.

Delorimier was booked on a charge of possession of obscene material. His bail was set at $1 million.
