Accused Burglar Driving Car With Stolen Plates Arrested In Marin
The plates on the Lexus were reported as stolen from Vallejo in March, according to police.
SAUSALITO, CA — A burglary suspect was arrested Friday evening in Sausalito after license plate recognition cameras spotted stolen plates on his car, police said.
Danny Turner, 40, of Rodeo, was driving a Lexus that was recorded by cameras about 5 p.m. entering the city from Alexander Avenue, according to Sausalito police.
The plates on the Lexus were reported as stolen from Vallejo in March, according to police.

Officers searched the area and found the Lexus at a city municipal lot, with Turner and a passenger inside. They discovered that Turner had a felony warrant out of San Mateo County for burglary and he was taken into custody. The passenger was released at the scene.
The Lexus' registration had expired more than four years ago and the car was impounded, police said.
