2012 Milley Awards - Call for Nominations

Nominations are being accepted now for the 2012 Milley Awards for outstanding creative achievement in the arts.

Nominees must have a significant Mill Valley connection – have lived or worked in the community, have received their education here, or some other strong association. They must have distinguished themselves in one or more of the following: arts – visual, musical, cinematic, dramatic, performing and or literary – and demonstrate an important body of work.

Nomination forms are required and available at , , , , , , the  and other arts-related locations. They are also availablefrom the Milleys website.

The Milleys, sponsored by the City of Mill Valley Art Commission and produced by a volunteer board of directors, are awarded through an open nomination process. The panel of judges are different every year.

The awards will be presented at the 18th annual awards dinneron Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the Mill Valley Community Center.

Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. April 16, 2012, at Mill Valley City Hall, 26 Corte Madera Avenue, Mill Valley CA 94941. When City Hall is closed, leave nominations in mailslot on door.
