The California Highway Patrol is seeking toy donations by this weekend to help make Christmas morning a memorable one for Marin County children in need.
This is the last weekend toys can be donated before dispersal to local charities on Dec. 19. Donations can be made at the CHP Marin Area Office, 53 San Clemente Dr., Corte Madera, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
Also, you can drop them off at the former Borders bookstore, 588 Francisco Boulevard West, San Rafael, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

All toys collected will go to local charities and nonprofits for distribution. Any new and unwrapped toy, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Last year, through the efforts of our community, the Marin CHP provided more than 1,600 toys to nine local charities.
