Bottoms Up in a Range Rover, ID Theft and the Return of the Boombox
This week's roundup of the latest police activities includes two reports of loud music at Tam High, multiple reports of barking dogs

Jan. 24
12:06 p.m. – A resident called police to report that students in the back parking lot of Tam High were playing loud music on a “boom box” and it was rattling his windows.

Jan. 25
12:41 p.m. – An employee of Toast restaurant reported that the front door appeared to have been vandalized, with the damage looking like someone had tried to break the lock on the door. Extra patrols of the area were requested during night hours, as a similar incident was reported at a nearby business.

11:26 p.m. – A police officer on patrol located a car that had been reported stolen out of San Mateo County. The car, a 1994 gold Honda Accord, had not been damaged, stripped or burned and its license plates were not removed. The owner of the car was notified. No suspects were located.
Jan. 26
12:15 p.m. – A resident I Camino Alto Court reported that someone had used his personal information to open an account with Comcast. Police filed a report.
2:53 p.m. – A representative of the Church of Our Savior on Old Mill Street reported that $306.48 was deducted fraudulently from the church’s checking account. Police are investigating.
3:41 p.m. – A resident of Stanton Way reported that someone bought a $1,400 purse at Nordstrom’s using her credit card. Police filed a report.
4:21 p.m. – A resident reported that his storage facility at 799 Redwood Hwy. sustained damage to the security gate and the key pad because a person he knew had driven into it. Police are investigating.
4:24 p.m. – A resident reported seeing a man drinking beer in a silver Range Rover in the Whole Foods Market on Miller Ave. before driving off. The car had personalized license plates, according to the report.

12:36 p.m. – A resident called police to complain that students outside Tam High were playing music way too loud on a boombox.
Jan. 28
1:07 a.m. – A resident of Hillcrest Road reported hearing a dog barking for 90 minutes. The dog was located a long distance away, likely up in Blithedale Canyon, the resident told police.
3:10 a.m. – More than one mile away, a resident of Woodbine Drive called police to report that a dog nearby had been barking for hours.
3:45 p.m. – A driver called police to report that the driver of another car cut her off on East Blithedale Ave. at Camino Alto and then got out of his Volkswagen Golf to threaten her.
Jan. 29
10:24 a.m. – A resident of Woodside Lane reported that a dog at a neighbor’s home was barking for the past 30 minutes and running from the front yard to the back yard. The resident told police that the dog had been an ongoing nuisance to neighbors.
2:30 p.m. – A driver reported that a panhandler with a portable oxygen tank went out into the intersection at East Blithedale Av. and Camino Alto. The driver said cars nearly hit the panhandler. Four people were panhandling at the intersection at the same time, according to the report.
