During the project crews will need to close sections or lanes of the road and shift bike lanes or sidewalks at times throughout the construction window to allow the contractor an area to stage equipment and materials in this stretch of roadway, city officials said.

Traffic detection cameras will be temporarily switched to timers, so there may be some traffic delays at the lights until the new detection camera equipment is installed.

Pedestrians, cyclists, students and motorists should expect some delays.

Detour paths will be provided for pedestrian access and lane shifts should be expected until the project is completed.
