Fire At Kitesurfing Store In Marin County Extinguished: Fire Officials

When fire crews arrived, they found flames burning through the roof of the building.

MARIN COUNTY, CA — A business that sells kitesurfing and other watersports equipment in unincorporated Greenbrae was damaged by fire early Tuesday morning, according to the Central Marin Fire Department.

The blaze was reported at around 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday and began at the business Live2Kite, located at 44 Industrial Way.

When fire crews arrived, they found flames burning through the roof of the building. Firefighters successfully worked to extinguish the fire and protect nearby structures. The blaze was declared under control about two hours later.

The fire was contained to the building where it started, and no injuries were reported, officials said.

Fire officials said crews remained on the scene throughout the day Tuesday as the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
