East Blithedale Cut to One Lane Thursday

PG&E work on a private gas line forces the closure of one lane of Mill Valley main artery near Locust Avenue for most of the day.

Mill Valley drivers might want to break out their favorite nerve-calming music playlist on Thursday (March 29), as one of the main arteries in town will be reduced to one lane for most of the day.

Due to the need to replace a private gas service line on East Bithedale Ave., Pacific Gas & Electric subcontractor ARB is shutting down one lane of East Blithedale near Locust Ave. from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

City officials said lane closure signs have been posted and flaggers will be present to direct traffic. "Please pay attention to signage and follow the directions of flaggers to move safely through the work zone," city officials said in a statement.
