ICB ART Announces New Dates For 2025 Open Studios
Once-yearly tradition at the historic ICB Building takes place November 15–16, 2025
The heart of Sausalito’s art scene beats stronger than ever at the historic ICB Building. For more than 50 years, ICB ART has been home to a thriving community of over 180 artists, carrying forward the Bay Area’s storied creative spirit. Just steps from the waterfront where figures like Richard Diebenkorn, Jean Varda, Ruth Asawa, Alan Watts, and Jerry Garcia once lived, worked, and gathered, today’s ICB artists keep that legacy alive in their studios.
ICB ART Open Studios, one of the Bay Area’s most beloved cultural events, continues in that tradition, drawing collectors, designers, and art enthusiasts from across the country, many of whom plan their Bay Area visits around this once-yearly happening. More than 100 artists will showcase their work across three floors of the landmark WWII-era building, offering a rare glimpse into the studios where creativity unfolds daily. Many ICB artists have exhibited nationally, internationally, and in museum shows.
This year, Open Studios will take place November 15–16, 11am–5pm, shifting from the traditional December weekend to stay ahead of predicted king tides and flooded parking lots, while also giving guests more time to discover artwork before the holiday season.

“There’s an electric vibe in the building, and Open Studios lets the public experience that energy firsthand,” said Erika Parrino, President of the ICB ART Board. “It’s a welcoming, inspiring event where guests can engage directly with artists.”
Over two days, visitors are invited to wander the building at their own pace, connect with artists, learn about their processes, and perhaps take home one-of-a-kind works, or even commission something uniquely personal.

Housed in a WWII-era shipbuilding warehouse on the historic Sausalito waterfront, the ICB Building continues to be a magnet for creatives across disciplines — painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, architecture, and design. Its three floors buzz with artistic energy and collaboration, making a visit to Open Studios as much about the experience as the art itself.
With free parking, ferry access, and Sausalito’s vibrant waterfront as the backdrop, ICB ART Open Studios continues to provide an unparalleled, immersive art experience that keeps the Bay Area’s creative heartbeat alive.
