Man Caught Stealing $8K In Bikes In Marin County: Police
A 28-year-old Richmond resident was caught on video stealing the bicycles, police said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — Detectives arrested a 28-year-old man Tuesday for stealing bicycles after he was caught on video stealing three bikes worth $8,000 from a resident's porch.
On Oct. 16, a resident in Santa Venetia, in unincorporated Marin County, reported that three locked bicycles were stolen from his porch, according to Marin County Sheriff's detectives.
After viewing surveillance footage of the theft, detectives identified Efrany Dionicio Diaz-Diaz, 28, and arrested him at his home in Richmond, police said.

Diaz-Diaz also had a warrant for his arrest for bicycle thefts out of Fairfax, police said.
He was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of grand theft, police said.
