Marin Arson Suspect Arrested
David Pappe was arrested in connection with fires set early Tuesday morning at the Nugget Market in Tiburon, police said.
TIBURON, CA — A 61-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly setting fires at a Nugget Market in Tiburon, police said.
David Pappe was arrested on suspicion of arson in connection with two early morning fires at the supermarket at 1 Blackfield Drive in The Cove Shopping Center.

Authorities initially responded around 12:40 a.m. Thursday to a small fire in the parking lot of the store, then were dispatched again at about 2:20 a.m. for another small fire burning on a rear wall of the building, according to Tiburon police.

Employees at the store had extinguished the fire before officers and firefighters arrived, and police searching the area found Pappe as well as evidence linking him to the alleged arson, police said.
Pappe was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail.
