Marin County Man Admits To Assault In Dorm Room

Samson Donick​ will have to register as a sex offender.

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- A Marin County man publicly apologized to a woman he apparently tried to sexually assault in a college dorm room. The Boston Herald reported Samson Donick pleaded guilty to lesser charges in a deal with prosecutors.

"Donick, 22, admitted to breaking into the woman’s dorm room more than two years ago in order to sexually assault her as she slept," the Herald reported.

Forced to apologize to the victim, Donick said, "I’m extremely sorry and I always will be."

The Herald said Donick attended Redwood High School before joining the MIT Engineers basketball team. Donick will register as a sex offender as part of the deal, the Herald said.
