Mill Valley Readies For Evac Drill

Southern Marin Fire's CERT volunteers over the weekend received traffic control training from police in anticipation of the Sept. 25 event.

MILL VALLEY, CA — The city of Mill Valley is preparing for an evacuation drill next month.

Southern Marin Fire’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteers over the weekend received traffic control training from the Mill Valley Police Department in anticipation of the Sept. 25 evacuation drill.

Participants are required to register for this event.

Residents who decline to participate in the evacuation drill are asked to avoid East Blithedale Avenue between Downtown Mill Valley and Camino Alto, and the side streets around the Mill Valley Middle School from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
