Mill Valley Starts E. Blithedale Rehabilitation Project

Phase I of the project is expected to be completed in January of next year, city officials said.

MILL VALLEY, CA — Mill Valley crews this week started a major construction project, city officials said.

Phase I of the project is expected to be completed in January of next year, city officials said.

Phase I of the project is from Camino Alto to US 101 and will include Ashford Avenue pavement repair from Meadow Drive to Lomita Drive.

Key features of the project include pavement rehabilitation, the installation of new bike lanes, traffic signal upgrades, ADA-compliant curb ramp designs, improved access multiuse

Night time paving work will take place on East Blithedale from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. to reduce traffic congestion and the creation of a new pedestrian crosswalk across Ashford Avenue just west of Meadow Drive, including a wider bulb out with a fence to channelize pedestrians and safety lighting
