Overnight 101 Work Continues This Week In Mill Valley
Concrete replacement work will lead to some late-night lane and ramp closures this week at various locations in Marin County.
Mill VAlley, CA — A bridge preservation project will require a few lane closures this week as crews replace aging concrete at various locations around San Rafael, Mill Valley, Novato and Corte Madera.
The latest round of work is scheduled in the evening and overnight hours through Friday.
Caltrans officials said drivers can expect lane closures along northbound U.S., 101 near the Cal Park overhead in San Rafael between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, along with some southbound lane closures in the same area between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

The northbound 101 connector off-ramp to Bellam Boulevard/Eastbount I-580 will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the same days, with the southbound on-ramp for Francisco Boulevard West closed between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
According to Caltrans, various lanes will be closed from eastbound to westbound State Route 131 Wednesday and Thursday from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., with one southbound lane closed on the 101 connector off-ramp from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. The connector loop on-ramp to northbound U.S. 101 from eastbound SR-131 will close between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Lane closures are also planned in both directions of U.S. 101 above Novato Creek between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The Rowland Boulevard off-ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Caltrans crews will also work on the Tamalpais overcrossing in Corte Madera on Thursday and Friday night, closing the eastbound Tamalpais Drive on-ramp from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. One lane will also be closed on the off-ramp to westbound Tamalpais Drive during the same time. The off-ramp to eastbound Tamalpais Drive will be closed from 10 pm. until 5 a.m.

San Rafael
- There will be various lane closures along Northbound US-101 near the Cal Park overhead in San Rafael on Monday, Oct. 30 through Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. There will be various lane closures on Southbound US-101 in the same location from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next mornings.
- The Northbound US-101 connector off-ramp to Bellam Boulevard/ Eastbound I-580 will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. on those same days.
- The Southbound US-101 on-ramp for Francisco Boulevard West will be closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next mornings.
Mill Valley
- Various lanes will be closed from Eastbound State Route 131 (Tiburon Boulevard) to Westbound SR-131 on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. The Northbound US-101 off-ramp bus stop at Eastbound SR-131 will be closed during that same time.
- There will be a lane closed on the Southbound US-101 connector off-ramp to Eastbound SR-131 from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. At least one lane will be open for traffic.
- The connector loop on-ramp to Northbound US-101 from Eastbound SR-131 will be closed on that same day from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Novato
- There will be various lane closures along Northbound and Southbound US-101 above Novato Creek in Novato on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and Thursday, Nov. 2 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. At least two lanes will be open for traffic.
- The Rowland Boulevard off-ramp in Novato on Southbound US-101 will be closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning. The Rowland Boulevard on-ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning.
Corte Madera
- Caltrans will be working on the Tamalpais overcrossing in Corte Madera on Thursday, Nov. 2 and Friday, Nov. 3.
- The on-ramp to Eastbound Tamalpais Drive on Northbound US-101 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. One lane will be closed on the off-ramp to Westbound Tamalpais Drive on the same day and times. The off-ramp on US-101 Southbound to Eastbound Tamalpais Drive will be closed from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. on the same day.
