Ruby Livingdesign Expands Into Adjacent Space
Owner of home décor business opens sister business in storefront formerly occupied by Ma Petite Folie.
Ruby Livingdesign is on a roll.
Just a few weeks after the home decor store expanded into the space next to its store front at 1 Throckmorton Ave., Ruby Livingdesign is hosting a kickoff celebration for its new store on Union Street in San Francisco.
Ruby Livingdesign owner Dee Dee Littrell said she opened a new business, Peristyle Home & Design, at 7 Throckmorton Ave. as a sister company. Peristyle fills a vacancy created by the late 2011 closure of clothing boutique Ma Petite Folie.

Littrell said Peristyle sells Yves Delorme bedding and sheeting and Mis en Demeure French beds, furniture, lighting, decorative pillows and accessories.
Ruby Livingdesign opened at 1 Throckmorton nine years ago, closing briefly in August for a renovation. Both Ruby Livingdesign and Peristyle offer custom design services in addition to selling a variety of furniture and home accessories.
