Smoke May Be Visible From Prescribed Burns In This Bay Area County
There are prescribed burns in the Mount Tamalpais area this week.
Mill Valley, CA — Locals may see smoke emitting from prescribed burns Tuesday through Thursday in Marin County.
The Marin County Fire Department and the Marin Municipal Water District are conducting burns in the area of Mount Tampalpais near Bon Tempe Lake.
The Fairfax Police Department confirmed that the controlled burns will be at the Mt. Tam watershed and smoke will be visible until at least 5 p.m. each day.
