MILL VALLEY, CA — Big games can intimidate less experienced players, but all indications are Tuesday’s pivotal showdown didn’t faze Katie Lowenstein much.
The Tamalpais High sophomore forward/midfielder scored the only goal in Tuesday’s 1-0 girls' soccer victory over Marin County Athletic League rival Redwood.
Tamalpais (9-2-6, 7-1-3 MCAL) with the win moved into sole possession of second place ahead of Redwood (10-2-2, 8-2-2) and within striking distance of first-place Branson (13-1-1, 9-1-1).
