Suspected Marin Meth Dealer Arrested: Report
John William Gobbin, 55 of San Rafael, was arrested for the second time in three weeks according to the report.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A suspected methamphetamine dealer was arrested Tuesday for the second time in three weeks, The Marin Independent Journal reports.
John William Gobbin, 55 of San Rafael, was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substances for sale among other charges and booked into Marin County Jail, the report said.
The Marin County Sheriff’s Office said Gobbin was in possession four ounces of suspected methamphetamine and digital scales when a search warrant was served at his residence Tuesday, according to the report.

Gobbin was arrested Aug. 10 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale.
Gobbin’s arrest earlier this month culminated a Sheriff’s Office Specialized Investigative Unit investigation assisted by the county’s Coordination of Probation Enforcement Unit.

Authorities conducted a search in which officers seized more than a pound of methamphetamine packaged for sale, replica firearms (without orange colored tips), drug paraphernalia, narcotics packaging, multiple digital scales, and US currency.
