Fight At Embassy Suites In Milpitas Nets Arrest Of Juvi With Gun

Milpitas police chased the 17-year-old and while in pursuit recovered a Mac-11 assault pistol.

MILPITAS, CA -- Police officers arrested a 17-year-old San Jose resident about a week ago after chasing him down and finding a Mac-11 assault pistol he allegedly tried to discard following a call of a fight at the Embassy Suites Hotel.

The juvenile, whose identity is undisclosed, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on charges of carrying a concealed firearm, possession of an assault weapon and an extended magazine, resisting arrest and tampering with evidence.

The officer took him into custody in the parking lot. The other individuals involved in the fight fled the area.
