Free Lunches To Be Served At 3 Milpitas School District Sites

The lunches are served up on a first-come, first-served basis all summer long.

MILPITAS, CA — Free lunches are being offered by the Milpitas Unified School District all summer at three sites.

Lunch will be served on a first-come, first-served basis, with no application or registration required and walk-ins welcome.

The program started Monday and is available to youths 17 and younger.

  • At Robert Randall Elementary School at 1300 Edsel Drive, lunches are available from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Monday to Thursday through July 25.
  • At Joseph Weller Elementary at 345 Boulder St., lunch is available Monday to Thursday through July 24.
  • At the Milpitas Sports Center at 1325 E. Calaveras Blvd., lunch is available 11:30 a.m. to noon and snacks from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. Monday to Friday through Aug. 9.

All sites will be closed on July 4. The district has operated the Seamless Summer Program, funded by the California Department of Education, since 2017.
