Kato Road closes Monday for nine months to make way for BART. Construction crews are rerouting the road under the train tracks so transit can come down to the South Bay.
The driving detour is to Dixon Landing. Allow some extra time — according to BART folks, the amount of morning traffic on Dixon Landing could nearly double.
