Man Shot, Killed On Story Road Identified: Santa Clara Co Coroner

Police have no suspects associated with the shooting reported at 10:23 p.m. Saturday on Story Road.

SAN JOSE, CA — A man shot and killed in San Jose late Saturday night was identified as 24-year-old Jose Sandoval, the Santa Clara County Coroner reported.

The shooting was first reported at 10:23 p.m. in the 1700 block of Story Road, Sgt. Enrique Garcia said. Officers arrived to find the man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital where he died.

Sandoval is originally from Fullerton but lived in Modesto. According to the social media, he leaves behind a 2-year-old daughter.

There are currently no suspects, according to Garcia. The shooting is under investigation.
