Man, Woman, 2 Kids Found Dead Inside Milpitas Apartment
Police said the four bodies were discovered after relatives called to request a welfare check at the home.
MILPITAS, CA — Two adults and two children were found dead in a Milpitas apartment Tuesday after relatives reported they hadn't heard from them in several days, according to police. Officers found the victims during a welfare check at the Turing at The Fields apartment complex a few minutes before 9 p.m.
During a news conference Wednesday, investigators said no suspects were outstanding.
"At this time all the evidence suggests it was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety," said Lt. Tyler Jamison. "This investigation is ongoing and we just ask the community to remain patient as we continue to uncover all the facts."

Jamison said the four people who were found were related but could not confirm their exact relationship until the identities were confirmed by the medical examiner. Police said it was also too early to disclose how the victims died or whether a weapon was recovered from the home.
"On behalf of the Milpitas Police Department, we all have heavy hearts and want to extend our condolences to the families and loved ones affected by this tragic incident," Jamison said "We're committed to supporting them during this incredibly difficult time."
