Criminal Complaint Referred Against House Of Aloha Travel: Police

Milpitas Police sent matter to Santa Clara Co. D.A. to review whether House of Aloha in Honolulu is operating a business unlawfully.

MILPITAS, CA — Police officers seek victims of an alleged travel agent crime after a Milpitas resident came forward to complain the House of Aloha Hawaii travel business based in Honolulu, Hawaii did not receive services for what was purchased.

Detectives investigated further and identified 12 additional victims who conducted business with the House of Aloha Hawaii.

The police department has contacted the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office where it referred the matter as a criminal complaint for operating a business under false pretenses and failure to provide services rendered. It also notified the California Department of Justice Seller of Travel Program and the Honolulu Police Department regarding this investigation.

The Milpitas Police Department believes there are additional Milpitas residents that have paid the House of Aloha Hawaii for travel services, which were either not delivered or partially delivered. Residents who believe they have been wronged in this case are urged to contact police at 408- 586-2400.
