Woman, Dog Injured When House Erupts Into Flames: San Jose Fire

The woman was hospitalized, and the dog recovered after respiratory arrest, according to San Jose Fire.

SAN JOSE, CA — Crews responded to a house fire in East San Jose Tuesday that injured a woman and dog, a fire spokesman said.

Firefighters responded at 11:49 a.m. to the fire on Brushglen Way, located off of North Jackson Avenue.

The woman was hospitalized, and the dog was taken to a veterinarian after recovering from respiratory arrest, San Jose Fire Capt. Mike Van Elgort said.
