City of Hope Doctors to Lend Expertise to Local Hospitals
City of Hope doctors will work with Providence Health & Services hospitals in Southern California.

Cancer doctors from Duarte-based City of Hope will lend their expertise to five Providence Health & Services hospitals in Southern California, as well as at the Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank and the nonprofit TrinityKids Care hospice programs in Orange and Los Angeles counties, the institutions announced today.
The idea is to bring City of Hope's research-driven practices to patients in Providence Southern California's five medical centers and network of clinics and physician practices.
"Our shared goal is to enhance access to the type of specialized, high- quality cancer care for which City of Hope is known," said Robert Stone, president of the City of Hope. "We partnered with Providence because of their traditions, values and the quality of care they provide in their communities. ... This is the model of the future, and this is what patients deserve."
