Election For Two Open School Board Seats Set For November

An election to fill two open seats on the Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education was scheduled Wednesday for November 5.

The terms of Board President Chris Rich and Board Member Alex Zucco expire at the end of the year and they will be up for re-election to new four-year terms when voters head to the polls in November.

The district estimates the election will cost $126,000, according to a board agenda report.
