Follow Election Results LIVE on Patch Tonight

Election results will be updated live on Patch Tuesday night and residents can join in on the coverage with an interactive chat feature beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Two spots on the City Council will be decided once votes are tabulated. The polls close at 8 p.m.

City Clerk Alice Atkins said vote-by-mail ballots should be counted soon after 8 p.m. She expects all the precincts to report between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., she said.

Counting will be a more involved process for this election because of the inclusion of a write-in candidate, Atkins said.
