Monrovia Officer Arrests 25 Drunk Drivers, Honored by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers

A Monrovia police officer and several volunteers were recognized by Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for their work in DUI enforcement.

A Monrovia police officer was recently honored by the organization Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for arresting 25 drunk drivers last year.

Officer Gerald Dehart was recognized for making the arrests by the Los Angeles County MADD chapter, according to the city manager's weekly report.The organization honors officers for DUI enforcement annually.

Reserve Officer Fred Hirigoyen and department volunteers Jerry Ferguson and Keith Green were given the "Team Award" for support of DUI enforcement for each assisting in more than 25 DUI arrests.
