School Board Interviewing Headhunters for Superintendent Search

The Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education will interview four executive search firms to help find Linda Wagner's replacement.

The school board will employ an executive search firm to find candidates for the district's soon-to-be vacant superintendent position and will interview four firms on Friday.

The Monrovia Unified School District Board of Education will meet in a special session Friday to interview Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, Educational Leadership Services, Dave Long & Associates, and Leadership Associates, according to an agenda report. After interviewing the four firms, the board will meet in closed session.

The district has not yet decided whether to appoint an interim superintendent to run the administration during the search.

Outgoing Superintendent Linda Wagner was recently hired to take over the same job in the Anaheim school district. Her final day is March 28.
