Volunteers Sought To Help Make A Difference This Weekend

Hundreds of volunteers are expected to help out around Monrovia this weekend as part of Make a Difference Day.

MONROVIA, CA — The Volunteer Center of the San Gabriel Valley is looking for some helpers to lend a hand Saturday as part of Make a Difference Day.

Make a Difference Day is in its 31st year and asks residents to help out around the community, according to officials. Helping can include cleaning up trash on the streets to dropping off bulky items.

The day will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., and volunteers can meet at Monrovia Library Park.
