Alleged 210 Freeway Killer Due Back in Court Friday

Aram Sarukhanyan, who is accused of killing his cousin and dumping her body on the 210 Freeway in La Crescenta, will be arraigned Friday.

A Tujunga man who allegedly killed his cousin and dumped her body out of a moving car onto the 210 Freeway in 2011 is due back in court Friday.

Aram Sarukhanyan is charged with murder and could face more than 50 years to life in prison if convicted in the slaying. He will be arraigned in a Pasadena courtroom on Friday.

Sarukhanyan was found bleeding from self-inflicted gunshot wounds alongside the southbound Glendale (2) Freeway near Mountain Street after the alleged murder, according to authorities. He was hospitalized at and released in May 2011.
