Armen Heroian Globally Famous Karate Master Teaches In Montrose
Black Belt Hall Of Fame's Armen Heroian, 10th degree Black Belt, has been teaching his craft at Fred Villari Studio in Montrose since 1987.

Shaolin Kung Fu, Karate, Jiu Jitsu, and Kempo, Master Instructor ARMEN HEROIAN, owner of Fred Villari Studios is skilled in them all. Originally from Massachusetts, Armen arrived in California in 1983 opening the FRED VILLARI STUDIO OF SELF DEFENSE soon after. His accomplishments have been globally recognized, earning him an induction into the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame in 1985. He was honored as 'Man of the Year' by Black Belt and Great Grandmaster Fredrick J. Villari and was selected as a notable member of Oxford's Who's Who. That's quite a resume!
These days his most important goal is to build character in his students. Teaching self defense involves a complete physical workout but also cultivates valuable life skills such as mental fortitude, tranquility, self-awareness, self-assurance, and self-confidence.
Karate classes begin with a white belt working toward yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, red and finally black. Students at Fred Villari range in age from 5 to 90. There is something for everyone.
