Big-Rig Fire Spreads To Brush Near 210 Freeway, Delays Expected
A fire that broke out on a 40-foot big rig spread to about a half-acre of brush near the westbound 210 Freeway Thursday morning.

TUJUNGA, CA — A fire that broke out on a 40-foot big rig spread to about a half-acre of brush near the westbound 210 Freeway Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Traffic is expected to continue to be delayed in the area where the fire broke out near La Tuna Canyon Road. The fire was first reported at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Firefighters stopped the forward progress of the flames in about half an hour, the LAFD reported.

Westbound freeway lanes were blocked in the area while firefighters worked to mop up hot spots in the brush and capture any fuel runoff from the truck.
