Man Accused Of Kidnapping Spouse In Palmdale
The man was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and domestic violence, officials said.

PALMDALE, CA — A man was arrested in Palmdale Sunday after allegedly kidnapping his spouse from an intersection in that city.
The woman was forced into the suspect vehicle about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Palmdale Boulevard and Division Street, according to Lt. Andrew Stowers of the Palmdale Sheriff's Station.
"They were originally in the car together," Stowers said.

Deputies located the two, and arrested the man for suspicion of kidnapping and domestic violence, the lieutenant said.
A news videographer who went to the scene showed the woman receiving first aid by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics. He said an eyewitness to the kidnapping followed the vehicle and relayed information to deputies, who stopped the vehicle in a parking lot.
