Wild Acai Now Open With Healthy Acai Bowls And Juice In Montrose
Acai bowls, fresh juice, smoothies, empanadas and more are now at your fingertips on Honolulu Avenue in the popular Montrose Shopping Park.

What is ACAI and why is it so popular? First let's pronounce it correctly. aa-saa-ee. Or ahh-sigh-ee. It's rather fun to say and rolls right off the tongue with a little practice. This superfood is a dark purple berry that is only grown in one place, the Amazon rainforest. It's about the size of a grape and tastes similar to a blueberry. It's low sugar, packed with antioxidants, fiber and calcium and it tastes great. Almost sounds like a miracle.
NUNE HAKOBYAN first discovered it at a little shop in Studio City and found herself driving there every week from Glendale just to get her Acai fix. Then the thought struck her. Why not bring this to Montrose? She approached her family friends Arthur and Elizabet Karapetian with a business proposal and WILD ACAI was born.
Acai Bowls are all the rage now. The most popular one is the CALI BOWL. It's a base of pure Acai that is topped with granola, almond butter, strawberries and banana. The bowl can be customized with things like protein powder, collagen, flax seed, chia seed, Nutella, bee pollen and more.

There is ample space inside to enjoy your bowls and empanadas at clean tables with fresh succulents.
Or have a seat outside and watch the world, Montrose style, go by.
