The Metropolitan Transportation Commission announces that another major element for its seismic retrofit project for the Dumbarton Bridge will cause its closure in both directions over the Labor Day weekend.
The bridge will be closed from Friday, August 31 at 10:00 pm until Tuesday, September 4 at 5:00 am. Motorists are urged to used alternate routes, including CA-92 across the San Mateo Bridge, and CA-237 in the South Bay.
