Fatality at San Antonio Caltrain Station Identified as a Los Altan
Joshua Stern, 35, trespassed onto the tracks, Caltrain officials said, but investigation continues.

A man who struck and on Wednesday morning has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as Joshua Stern, 35, of Los Altos.
According to a Caltrain spokeswoman, the southbound No. 332 baby bullet train around hit Stern at 9:45 a.m. near the San Antonio station. Stern had trespassed onto the tracks, the Tasha Bartholomew had said.
Caltrain began to single-track its trains and the 207 passengers on that baby bullet were transferred to another one.

The circumstances of Stern's death remain under investigation. The death marks the ninth fatality on Caltrain right-of-way this year, compared to 16.
