FOLLOW-UP: SR-85 Crash Still Under Investigation
The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate incident that took the life of Mountain View resident Arlette Alonso.
No arrest has yet been made in the , a California Highway Patrol officer updated Patch.
Arlette Alonso, a 2009 graduate of UC Merced and alumnus of , died when her vehicle collided with a large tree on the embankment between the E. Evelyn Avenue off ramp.
At the time, CHP sought a white Toyota Camry who they thought may have possibly swerved in front of Alonso's Audi to change lanes.

According to CHP spokesman Arturo Montiel, "the driver was located the same evening and the collision is still under investigation."
"If there are any charges, they will be brought up once the investigation is completed," he said. "We do not have anybody in custody at this time."
