Google Employees Worldwide Protest Trump Administration's Immigration Ban
BREAKING: Workers at Google offices across the globe are making their feelings known in a very public way.

SILICON VALLEY, CA -- Google employees at the tech company's eight offices around the globe are staging a walkout in protest of the Trump Administration's recent ban of immigrants and refugees from seven Muslim-majority countries from the United States.
The workers across the globe, using the hashtag #GooglersUnite, have begun tweeting photos and videos of their actions.
Google's global headquarters is located in Mountain View, but the company also has campuses in more than a dozen other U.S. cities, as well as in Europe, Canada, Latin America and the Middle East.

President Trump's Jan. 28 executive order placing a 90-day ban on entrance into the U.S. by citizens and refugees from seven countries: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
The order was later amended to allow permanent residents with green cards to reenter the country.

Leaders in the tech industry, including executives with Apple, Google, Facebook and Uber have denounced the ban, with some calling it "un-American" and saying that it makes the country less -- not more -- safe.
