Your child could become a zombie, but you can still prevent this.

That's the premise of the second Kickstarter fundraising campaign video created to help Little Bee Pop—an ice pop company started by Mountain View resident Liz Snyder—get a food truck.

The truck would quadruple the number of weekly park visits the team can make. Now with only four-days from the end of the campaign on Sunday, April 7, they are about half way to their $22,000 goal, which they need to meet to receive any funds.

"For us, Kickstarter harnesses the power of local community support," said Snyder. "It gives us a debt-free chance at our dreams."

The Little Bee Pop dream started because of Snyder's health-conscious ways. She wouldn't feed her daugher store brought ice pops because of the amount of sugar and other unhealthy ingredients. So they created Little Bee Pops in 2010 and since have made ice pops from fresh local produce, local honey and with healthy fats like flax and almond milk. All the ingredients have been tested by now 8-year-old Helen and approved by Snyder.

"We took an iconic childhood treat that’s been bastardized by the industrial food system," said Lilia Schwartz, co-owner and chief creative officer, "and reimagined it as both healthy and sustainable."

During their first Kickstarter campaign in 2012 they raised $16,000 in startup funds and sold their handmade fresh fruit and honey ice pops via old-fashioned ice cream pushcarts. Now they hope to take over the world—or at least defeat the zombies.
