Mountain View Police Chief Max Bosel has been accused of sexually harassing a police dispatcher in a lawsuit filed, according to local media

MOUNTAIN VIEW - Mountain View Police Chief Max Bosel has been accused of sexually harassing a police dispatcher in a lawsuit filed, according to numerous local media sources.
According to KIPX5, Annie Lohman, a dispatcher within the department, claimed she was subjected to harassment that included "unwanted sexual advances and unwanted physical conduct of a sexual nature toward her."
The station reports the the harassment went on for years.

“He was doing stuff that shouldn’t be done by a professional in the workplace and she was having to witness it,” Jim McManis, Lohman’s attorney, told KPIX 5.
In an open letter to the community posted online Wednesday, Mountain View City Manager Dan Rich said an independent investigator determined "the claims made by the employee were not supported by facts, but the employee chose to move ahead with a lawsuit."

Yesterday, Patch published the Open Letter to the Community of Mountain View, posted by City Manager Dan Rich on the City's website, expressing what steps were being taken in response to a "pending lawsuit brought by an employee."

In the open letter, Rich said an independent investigator determined the claims made by the employee were not supported by facts, but the employee chose to move ahead with a lawsuit.
Yet during the investigation, Rich said the City learned of "past behavior by some police department employees that was inconsistent with the standards we expect from our employees."
The city manager went on to note that additional training for all Police staff was now being implemented.
The City of Mountain View is included in the lawsuit, according to KPIX5.
