Police Search For Driver In Hit-And-Run Crash
The passenger stuck in the vehicle had their foot pinned down by the damage.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Mountain View police are looking for a driver who was involved in a solo-vehicle collision Sunday morning that left one person injured.
Mountain View police officers responded to the wreck at East Evelyn Avenue and Kittyhawk Way at about 5:20 a.m. and found the vehicle had collided with a tree. One person was stuck inside the vehicle and one person was standing outside of it.
The passenger stuck in the vehicle had their foot pinned down by the damage. They were extricated by Mountain View firefighters and taken to a hospital.

The person standing outside the vehicle told police they were the owner of the vehicle but someone else was driving. That person allegedly took off running and was not immediately located. They were said to be wearing all black clothing.
