POLL: Should City Permit 'Hacker' Houses/Hostels?

Guest who stay in them rave; but neighbors complain. What do you think?

In the City of Mountain View at least three houses operate in the "" style, where a bed is rented to guests, usually, on a nightly rate.

But these houses aren't supposed to be used as hotels, . Hotels aren't zoned for residential neighborhoods; they are supposed to be in areas like on El Camino Real or Moffett Boulevard.

On the other hand, according to the reviews on AirBnB, these houses have become the go-to place for visitors to the city's many startups, who at night need a place to lay their heads after a long day of programming, meetings and networking.
