10-Acre Winchester Brush Fire Fully Contained

WINCHESTER, CA — A 10-acre brush fire that burned overnight in Winchester was contained though one firefighter was injured during the battle.

The blaze was reported at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday in the 28200 block of Winchester Road, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

There were no evacuations or structures threatened, the agency said.

As of early Wednesday morning, the fire was fully contained.
