Beer Truck Overturns Off I-215 Near Perris
The Bud Light semi truck rolled off the freeway and onto nearby train tracks.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — One motorist was hospitalized in an early morning crash in Riverside County after rolling off the freeway, according to fire officials. The person had been driving a semi truck hauling beer, which ended up on the train tracks next to Interstate 215 in Perris.
The crash was reported just before 6 a.m. Tuesday along I-215 at Harley Knox Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The semi truck driver collided with a passenger vehicle, and the truck ultimately rolled off the interstate, images from the scene showed. After crumpling upon landing on the train tracks, paramedics had a difficult time getting to the driver in the blue Bud Light truck.

"The patient required an extensive extrication from the vehicle," the fire department said.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured, according to the agency.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
