Boy Hit By Vehicle Outside Menifee School

An air ambulance was requested to the scene, fire officials say.

MENIFEE, CA — Emergency responders were sent to the scene Thursday of a traffic collision involving a boy who was hit by a vehicle, fire and sheriff's officials report. The incident was first reported at 2:13 p.m. in the 28100 block of Calm Horizon Drive, outside of Ethan A. Chase Middle School.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the call came in as a vehicle versus pedestrian.

A helicopter took a male juvenile to the hospital, according to the sheriff's department. His injuries were described as "moderate" by the fire department.
