Man Killed In Morning Crash On Domenigoni Parkway: CHP
UPDATED: The CHP says an SUV rolled off the roadway and slammed into a pole.

HEMET, CA — A deadly crash was reported off Domenigoni Parkway on Tuesday morning. The California Highway Patrol reports a vehicle rolled and slammed into a traffic light pole.
The wreck was reported at 7:35 a.m. on Domenigoni at Leon Road and involved a Mazda SUV, according to the CHP.
"For reasons yet to be determined the driver allowed his vehicle to leave the roadway as he was traversing the intersection," CHP Officer Darren Meyer said in a news release. "The Mazda traveled over the concrete curb on the northwest side of the intersection and collided with the signal light pole."

Meyer said the SUV overturned and landed in a dirt field nearby.
The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the scene and cut the man free from the wreckage, however he died a short time later, the agency said. The coroner was called to the scene at 8 a.m.

No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash, according to Meyer.
