According to sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin McDonald, Otten came under investigation after taking his laptop to a Temecula computer repair shop, where technicians allegedly found the kiddie porn pictures.
Detectives obtained a search warrant and served it at Otten’s house in the 23600 block of Sycamore Creek Avenue, where additional items were seized and Otten was taken into custody without incident, McDonald said.
Otten has no prior convictions in Riverside County.
